A Journey to Conscious Beauty

The story begins with our founder at age  21-year-old, Danielle an aspiring cosmetologist, eager to explore the world and gain unique experiences. From working in luxurious spa hotels in Australia, the Bahamas, and Florida to back packing across Asia and South America, these adventures brought invaluable knowledge and inspiration. However, it was the transformative travels through the Amazon, India and Sri Lanka that introduced a more natural, eco-friendly, and plant-based way of living—one that resonated deeply.

Returning to London, the reality of working in an industry reliant on chemical ingredients and single-use plastics was disheartening. The lack of alignment between personal values and professional practices led to disillusionment and a longing for change.

 

A Vision Born in the Amazon

The turning point came in Peru, with a life-changing encounter with plant medicine, ayahuasca. During this journey, a powerful vision emerged: a future of offering treatments with natural, eco-conscious products. This profound moment ignited a mission to revolutionise the beauty industry by blending the principles of holistic wellness with sustainable practices.

 

The Birth of Aura Organics

Returning home, the focus shifted to studying Ayurveda and cosmetic product formulation. The first batch of products was created, not for sale but for use in personalised treatments. The remarkable results—calming sensitive skin, managing hormonal acne, and restoring skin health—sparked demand from clients. What began as a mobile service evolved into a full-fledged range of over 100 products, all crafted with the highest standards of sustainability and efficacy.

 

A Return to the Essence of Beauty

While product development flourished, the longing to reconnect with clients on a personal level remained. The idea of creating a space where treatments could align with the values of Aura Organics became the next step. Partnering with a her best friend and fellow cosmetologist Sasha, the first Aura Organics Spa was born in Hackney Wick—a sanctuary of wellness where every treatment is performed using handmade, natural, and eco-friendly products.
